Vision & Mission
The Fairmont City Christian Activity Center is dedicated to providing a safe, fun environment where children can seek help and God’s direction for a bright future. Through God’s Word, we work to establish solid family values, positive self-worth, and respect for the individual. We are dedicated to the completion of high school and strive to develop a strong work ethic with programming that is focused on:
- Tutoring
- Social skills
- Spirituality
- Citizenship
- Personal health
- Sportsmanship
Our CAC facility offers classrooms, a computer lab, and kitchen area. We offer after school tutoring and activities to all children grades K – 12. As we grow, and resources permit, each child will be offered a healthy snack, fine art classes, recreation and life enhancements, as well as computer skills with Internet access.
Our challenges:
- Helping our children develop healthy reading skills and improved academic confidence. We are continually working with the school district to keep our tutoring at a level that is highly effective for each individual child.
- Helping those considering dropping out to make a personal commitment to continue their education and earn their high school diploma.
